The EU Succession Regulation 650/2012 :   French and British Cross Border Estates and Estate Planning from 17 August 2015

Notwithstanding the UK opt-out, what will be the impact of the European Regulation on cross border successions between France, England, Wales and Scotland?  How are we to address the major changes that will affect French Private International Law after August 2015? And will it work?

The Franco-British panel of estate practitioners will cover these new legal challenges:

for clients with assets or family across  the Channel, it is now time to understand and secure the necessary estate planning arrangements for future cross border estates.

The event is accredited for CPD points with the Bar Standards Board, the SRA and ILEX and the Ecole de formation du Barreau for 2 hours.
