All law students, trainees and recently qualified lawyers are invited to attend the Forum,
organised in conjunction with The University of Law – Bloomsbury.
Members of the Panel will address different aspects of legal careers in the UK, and France.
All talks will be in English but questions in French are more than welcome.

Leonardo Carpentieri, Counsel at LMS LLP in London. Avocat au Barreau de Paris and Solicitor of England & Wales specialising in international arbitration, primarily in the infrastructure and energy sectors. Previously lawyer in Paris & London for international law firms. President of the English Committee of the FBLS.
James Casey, Associate at Gide Loyrette Nouel in London, Solicitor Advocate of England and Wales and Avocat au Barreau de Paris
Tatiana Desjobert, Senior Counsel, Atlas Copco Legal Department, former Avocat au barreau de Paris and Solicitor; has extensive in-house experience in London in various industry sectors; previously worked in private practice in Paris, New Orleans, Moscow and London for international law firms
Floriane Laruelle, Trainee Solicitor at Dawson Cornwell Solicitors in the Private Client and Family Law Department
Catherine Palmer, Legal Director and Board Member at fashion house Joseph, heading up legal department dealing with all domestic and international legal matters
Sally Osborn, Retired Solicitor Practising Notary Public, Past President of The Notaries Society; formerly English solicitor with a London practice where she set up the “French Department”
Registration at 5.45pm for a prompt start at 6pm
No charge: those attending are encouraged to become members of the Franco-British Lawyers Society
