All law students, trainees and recently qualified lawyers are invited to attend the Forum,
organised in conjunction with The University of Law – Bloomsbury.
Members of the Panel will address different aspects of legal careers in the UK, Belgium and France.
All talks will be in English but questions in French are more than welcome.

Gay Bailey | Policy adviser at the Ministry of Justice in family law advising in particular HM Government on EU matters relating to family law.

Leonardo Carpentieri | Counsel at LMS LLP in London. Avocat au Barreau de Paris and Solicitor of England & Wales specialised in international arbitration, primarily in the infrastructure and energy sectors. Previously lawyer in Paris & London for international law firms. President of the English Committee of the FBLS.

Floriane Laruelle | Trainee Solicitor at Dawson Cornwell Solicitors ( who started her legal career as a para legal) in the Private client and Family Law Department .

Notary Public, Past President of The Notaries Society; retired English solicitor with a London practice where she set up the “French Department”.

Both completed their training contracts with Gide Loyrette Nouel LLP London; in September this year Rosalie and Rebecca qualified into, respectively, the Banking & Finance and International Dispute Resolution teams of the London office of Gide Loyrette Nouel
