In Conjunction with the Scottish Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators

The Franco British Lawyers Society has been holding this particular event since 1995 in Edinburgh London, Dublin and Paris. The choice of the seat of Arbitration is an important one, and many jurisdictions seek to attract arbitrations to their shore. This panel of experienced practitioners will highlight the differences and advantages of their particular jurisdictions

England – Nicholas Stewart QC, barrister, Deputy High Court Judge
France – Rajeev Sharam Fokeer, Avocat associe/Partner, FTPA (Paris&London)
Ireland – Arran Dowling Hussey, barrister, adjudicator, arbitrator and mediator. Dublin, Belfast and London
Scotland – David Arnott, Partner Construction Group Brodies LLP
Switzerland – Marc Veit, Partner Arbitration and Litigation Lalive

The Debate will be chaired by Brandon Malone, of Brandon Malone & Company
