Our world and the organisations we work for are increasingly shaped by algorithms. They are everywhere, fed by an increasing quantity of data. This conference is aimed at those who would like to understand better what Big Data and Artificial Intelligence are by looking their implications for financial services, by focusing on cyber security, data analytics and machine learning – and considering how their organisations need to adapt.

Experts will explain in language accessible to ordinary people what Big Data and Artificial Intelligence are, and representatives of French and British governmental authorities will explain their approach to developing relevant policy and rules of governance. The developing law in the U.K., France, EU and USA will be considered to see if it is keeping up with innovation.

This event is organised by the FBLS in co-operation with the Franco British Council.

The attendance fee is £40 for FBLS members and £50 for non-members. To reserve a place, please email the Administrator at fbls@outlook.com. Numbers are limited and registration will be on a first-come first-served basis.
