Dear Members
As you may know, the 2015 Legal walk will take place in London on May 18th. The Legal Walk is a 10km walk in London organised by the London Legal Support Trust (LLST) to raise money for free legal advice charities in London and the South East.
On this occasion, the Franco British Lawyers Society is building up a team, and kindly asks for your generous contribution to support the legal advice agencies which do a crucial job in preventing homelessness, improving the living conditions of children in extreme poverty and trying to combat discrimination and injustice.
The walk provides a great opportunity for lawyers and friends, from all practice areas, and all levels of seniority, to come together and show support for these agencies whilst taking part in for a very enjoyable event, with a serious message. The walk is led from the very top with the Lord Chief Justice, Master of the Rolls, Attorney General, Solicitor General, DPP, judges from the Supreme Court, Appeal Court and High Court and a range of partners and head of chambers getting involved.
